The webmaster training explains the advanced possibilities of Plone.

You can think of functions like structuring a big amount of information, managing users, set up access rights and to configure basic settings of the website.

Required experience

  • You are familiar with the information contained in our "Plone End User" training
  • You are highly organized with a knowledge of website structure
  • You have knowledge of and experience with basic web technology

  • Managing the website through the Plone Control Panel
  • User management and security configuration of the CMS
  • Workflow and publication configuration for the website
  • Advanced content such as collections and their role in site constrution
  • Creation and management of side panels (portlets) in the website
  • Extra add-on product installation for Plone

Material and Training
The training focuses on practical experience. By switching between theory and exercises you'll get familiar with the possibilities of Plone and you're not afraid to use it in daily work.

We provide a handout copy of the presentation and a free copy of the reference book A user's guide to Plone.

Location
Zest Software is located at Kaasmakerstraat 44 on the industrial Gadering in Hoogvliet. We have a training room for up to 8 participants. Training at your location is also possible.

Costs

The cost of this training is € 375, - excluding VAT per participant. This includes lunch in the style of a plowman's lunch. You can make unlimited use of coffee, tea and cold drinks. If we have less than 4 participants we reserve the right to cancel and reschedule the training session.
